Day 1

ARRIVAL NJP RAILWAY STATION/ orIXB AIRPORT

- GANGTOK On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Bagdogra Airport, (500Ft / 150Mts) you will be met by our local representative at who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 130 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs). Check in and over night at Hotel.

TSOMGO LAKE - BABA MANDIR

Tsomgo Lake : , also known as Tsongmo Lake or Changu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometers from the capital Gangtok. (12,313 ft), the lake remains frozen during the winter season. The lake surface reflects different colours with change of seasons and is held in great reverence by the local Sikkim’s people. Baba Mandir : altitude of 13,123 ft and about 52kms from Gangtok is a distinguished sightseeing place of Sikkim. This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. He died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim, India. Two shrines have been built to show reverence to Baba Harbhajan Singh. The old one has been built at the site of the bunker, where Baba Harbhajan was posted during his tenure in the Indian Army. GANGTOK – PELLING

Morning transfer to Pelling (6100 Ft / 1860 Mts, 116 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Overnight at Hotel.

PELLING FUL DAY SIGHT SEEN

After breakfast we drive to Darap Village: About 6 kilometers from Pelling. Darap Village in habited mainly by People from Limboo Community and a small number of families from mixed communities like Bhutias. Rimbi Water falls About 12kms away from Pelling and about 5kms further down from Darap village. Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts) sacred lakes of Sikkim originally known as Kha-Chot-Palri (meaning the heaven of Padmasambhava) Located 34 kilometres FROM PELLING .The Khecheopalri Lake is also part of Buddhist religious pilgrimage circuit involving The lake is considered to be one of the sacred lakes of Sikkim. The lake remains hidden in the rich forest cover. It is believed that birds do not permit even a single leaf to float on the Khecheoplari lake surface. There is a motor able road from Pelling right up to the lake area. Kanchenjunga Waterfalls: About 28kms from Pelling Kanchenjunga falls is situated around an hours drive from Pelling It has water all the year around. Locals say it is fed by streams originating from the glaciers near the base of Mount Kanchenjunga the 3rd highest peak in the world. Tourists go from Pelling to see this waterfall. &. PELLING FUL DAY SIGHTSEEING

Day 7

PELLING – DARJEELING

Transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts, 125 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs).Check in and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 8

DARJEELING FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) Overnight at Hotel.

Depart

DARJEELING VIA MIRIK - NJP RAILWAY / IXB AIRPORT (5800 Ft, 120 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs) MIRIK LAKE EXCURSIONS (Boating is available on direct payment basis) After Breakfast proceeds for IS A MYSTICAL VALLEY IN THE DARJEELING REGION & West Bengal’s one of the hill at an altitude of average elevation of (5200 ft). with its own special charms – 49 km.
